Privacy policy
This policy describes the Lama Soldi native Mac application and its separate support website. Lama Soldi is intended for authorized internal accounting use; this website is not an online accounting portal.
Information used by the application
Company files may contain account and transaction records, company and contact details, tax identifiers, customer invoices and payments, staff and ownership records, logos, billing records, and attachments. The user chooses what to enter, import, export, or share.
Local storage and backups
Working company records and attachments are stored on the user’s Mac. Configured daily or manual backups may copy company files, attachments, logos, and preserved import archives to the user’s iCloud Drive. These files are not separately encrypted by Lama Soldi; their protection depends on the user’s macOS account, device security, FileVault settings, and Apple services. Connection secrets are excluded from Lama Soldi backups.
QuickBooks Online
When authorized, Lama Soldi connects to Intuit to download accounting records, contact lists, invoices, payment relationships, control reports, and invoice attachments. The connector does not create, edit, or delete accounting records in QuickBooks. Intuit’s Accounting permission is broader than this read-only use. OAuth credentials and tokens are kept in Apple Keychain on the Mac. Invoice attachments may be downloaded from secure addresses supplied by Intuit.
PayPal and invoice delivery
When the user requests PayPal invoice actions, relevant merchant and customer details, invoice descriptions, dates, amounts, and payment information are transmitted to PayPal. Payment status is retrieved from PayPal. Creating a payment link is not itself delivery of an email to the customer. Email and statement actions prepare a message using macOS sharing or Mail; the user reviews and sends it. The configured mail provider and recipients then receive the message and included files.
No advertising or data harvesting
Lama Soldi does not include advertising trackers or app analytics, and is not designed to sell or harvest accounting or personal data. Its external connections serve the user-requested accounting, payment, backup, and sharing functions described here. Intuit, PayPal, Apple, and the user’s mail provider handle information under their own policies.
This website and connection responses
This website does not accept accounting uploads or provide public sign-ups. It uses no advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Hosting and network providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP address, requested address, time, and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. An Intuit authorization return may include a short-lived code and company identifier in the address. The return page keeps that response in the current browser page only so the user can copy it into Lama Soldi, then removes it from the visible address. Do not share the response with anyone.
Retention and control
Users control local records and backups. Disconnecting QuickBooks revokes the connection but does not remove previously imported records, backups, exports, or third-party records. Deletion and backup retention are separate actions. Users should retain accounting records as required for their business and legal obligations.
